My name is Rebecca. I am currently a junior at Brigham Young university studying Public Health and Business. I am creating this blog for my Technology in Health Promotion class. In January 2010 I was fortunate enough to be chosen to participate in a Student Mentoring Research Project in Thailand. A Health Professor at BYU received an ORCA grant to take 4 Public Health students to Thailand to research smoking literacy among adolescents as well as learn about health in Thailand. From this experience I grew to LOVE the Thai people. Health in Thailand is continually improving. The areas of Public Health I am most interested in are international health, community health, and corporate wellness. I would thoroughly enjoy choosing a career path in one of these areas. For more information feel free to post a question under this page. Thanks!
Rebecca,
I just took a look at your post. It looks great–a great way to introduce your blog topic. To answer your questions from earlier…just be sure to have 2 embedded links in each post to other articles/websites with similar topics as the specific topic from that post. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me anytime! I’m excited to read more about your Thailand adventure and the things you learned there.
